Anaheim
Anaheim
is probably most famous as the home of Disneyland, the first Disney
theme park and "The Happiest Place on Earth," but there's even more fun
to be found in this beautiful city in Orange County, California.
In addition to the Disneyland theme park, Anaheim is host to numerous
other parks and attractions. Knott's Berry Farm has wonderful
attractions and rides for kids of all ages! For those who like movies,
Universal Studios Hollywood features rides based on many of its most
famous films, like Back to the Future. A short drive away, one can find
Sea World, one of the world's largest and most educational water parks.
Medieval Times rounds out the theme park offerings by placing guests in
the role of medieval royalty. Jousting tournaments are nightly, and the
portions at dinner are humongous!
After touring the theme parks, visitors can enjoy numerous museums and
cultural attractions. The International Printing Museum and local art
museums offer original and rare works for visitors to enjoy. Nearby
Catalina Island is considered one of the most beautiful vacation spots
in the world. The Long Beach Aquarium houses numerous species from the
Pacific Ocean, the world's largest ocean.
Visitors to Anaheim are only a stone's throw away from San Diego and all
it has to offer. But considering all of Anaheim's attractions, from
Disneyland to the Crystal Cathedral, visitors have little reason to
leave this center of entertainment and fun!
